I am currently an associate professor at the Université de Nantes, France. I work in Artificial Intelligence, studying stochastic local search algorithms for solving combinatorial optimization problems using massively parallel computer among the most powerful around the world: The Hitachi HA 8000 T2K and the Fujitsu FX10 in Japan, the IBM JUGENE Bluegene/P in Germany and the IBM Babel Bluegene/P, the Bull CURIE as well as the grid computing Grid'5000 in France. Besides parallel algorithms, I also design and implement algorithms for decision-making, planning and prediction problems in dynamic environments with incomplete information.
