‘PEER REVIEW FOR EQAVET’ 4TH
TRANSNATIONAL MEETING WAS HELD ON THE 19ND-20TH OF MAY
2014 IN UPPSALA, SWEDEN
‘Peer Review for EQAVET’ 4th
transnational meeting was held on the 19th-20th of May 2014 in
Uppsala, Sweden. The meeting aimed at deciding on all the current workpackage activities with a
particular focus on pilots in partner countries.
The partners from Bulgaria, France, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, and Sweden
were present at the meeting. The first day began with partner presentations on
implementing pilots in their countries; while the rest of the day was dedicated to
thorough discussion of the other project activities of the major workpackages. The
second day was traditionally spent on discoursing upon dissemination, financial
and administrative issues.
“It was a pleasure to welcome our dear partners here in Uppsala. I’d like to note that the meeting
was quite … vigorous! A lot was discussed and not a minute was spent in vain. Many thanks both to
the project coordinator and the partners”, - says Ali Rashidi, the director of Department for
International Cooperation of Folkuniversitetet.
The Peer Review for EQAVET is a Leonardo Da Vinci project, launched on the 1st
of October 2012. The
project aims to transfer and further develop the innovative and successful method of QA in VET in
five ‘new countries’ (that have not participated in Peer Review transfer so far): Greece, Sweden,
France, Bulgaria and Poland, and also act as a model for transferring Peer Review into national
systems of QA for VET to new countries.
