2. Film industry
The Film Industry is the entertainment industries involved
in making and distributing movies
Though the expense in making movies almost immediately
led film production to concentrate under the auspices of
standing production companies, advances in affordable
film making equipment, and expansion of opportunities to
acquire investment capital from outside the film industry
itself, have allowed independent film production to evolve.
There are public film industry's such as Netflix and love film
4. Director
The first couple people I hate to say it are incorrect on
some instances. They mainly describe the job of the
producer. Here is what the director does:
The director is in control of the creative aspects of a
film.
The director doesn't control pay checks or anything
like that at all. Instead, a director takes the script and
transforms it into the action that one sees on the big
screen. The director is in charge of taking the script
and telling the story boarders how to draw out the
important scenes of the films. He then directs the
actors on how to play out a scene, telling the camera
operators where to be and how a certain shot should
look
producer
Most films are made by production companies. The executives
"green light" a project, they then assign a producer to the film. The
producer's job is to bring it all together. The producer hires the
director, the screen-writers, and all of the other technical craftspersons who work on the film.
The producer is responsible for overseeing every mechanical detail
of the film: sets, costumes, locations. The producer sets up the
budget, meets the payroll, and in short, does everything necessary
for the director to walk on stage and say "Action."
cinematographer
animator
Think of an animator as the actor of the anime or
show because he/she's the one who gives life to the
characters that is needed for the show. Of course
you need to have talent in drawing as much as an
actor needs talent in acting. After reading the
storyboard the animator imagines what the scene
would be like and reads the dope-sheets or xsheets ( short for exposure sheets ) which shows
the directors' guides for the dialogue, action, f.x and
how long the scene would be seen on screen.
They are in charge of the visual aspects of the film. Basically how a shot
is light, how the camera moves in the shot and so on. The director's only
real direct influence is on the actors, unless he has another "hat" in the
production.
If the director wants a specific shot in the film he would go to the
Cinematographer and say I want to do this....
The cinematographer would then say Okay. Okay, buy why? C. That
won't work , we can't do that, but...
The same goes for every "creative" job on set. The people in charge do
what they want (as long as it is in service of the directors vision and look
and feel of the film) unless the director wants something specifically
different.
