2. Reflection
What are you making?
I’m going to make a fashion film that includes clothes that I have made and I am going to edit the footage using
shots that I have taken influence from other fashion pieces. I’m going to create two looks that contrast each
other and I’m going to call the film something that shows contrast with beauty but can also work with it. I want
to make sure I show of the clothes well and want to focus on subtle changes like lighting. After this, I’m going
to make various edits from photos of the clothing and put them in an online gallery.
Why are you making this?
I’m really passionate about both film and fashion and thought it would be a great idea to combine them both. I
am exited to explore using different shots and lighting effects to portray different emotions as well as making
cool clothing and showcasing it.
How will you showcase this?
I’m just going to put everything on my website but I had initially wanted to book out the gallery space at
college and photograph it to showcase the work effectively. This was sadly, not possible.

4. Shot List
Shot 1 I want the opening shot to be a close up
of the models face with very high-key
lighting, I’m thinking of adding a blurred
out fade as a shot transition from shot
one to shot two.
Shot 2 In my research I explored the idea of
doing a video of lay with a windowed
mid-shot of a clothing item so I would like
to do this for my second shot.
Shot 3 For my third shot, I want to do a camera
zoom or a camera pan of some sort so I
can showcase the entire outfit as well as
some of the scenery in the background.
