eLearning
Spearhead deliver award winning online courses globally. Our courses are delivered via the most interactive and engaging online platform on the market. We cover various
categories such as Food Safety, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Financial Services, HR, Retail and much more. Elearning enables staff to learn at a pace that suits them and you as
the employer. It enables your business to become compliant without having to release staff for classroom-based training. Elearning is cost effective whilst still receiving the UK’s
leading qualifications. Our new platform enables employers to give staff unlimited access to our course library for a low monthly fee.
Aside from simple logistical reasons, another true benefit of eLearning is the ability to utilise a blended approach to learning. It’s no secret that adults learn
differently from one another. When you take the time to create an eLearning course using a blended learning approach, you increase the likelihood that
you’ll meet the training needs of your learners. You can incorporate activities that are not easily done in a simple classroom environment. Blended learning
techniques also allow for a high level of interactivity on the part of the user. No one gets to sit in the back row and not pay attention to the material. To complete
the course, students must engage with the material or they will never move forward. Reaching those students who otherwise wouldn’t be engaged is as added
benefit. With this in mind our courses can be developed around your needs and bespoke to your organisation, we offer a branded portal and you can monitor
staff progress, communicate with staff and download all progress reports for all regulatory compliance needs.

We design a bespoke 3-week employment programme around your organisational needs. This includes a job relevant

10. Apprenticeship Levy
It’s an exciting time to be an apprenticeship
training provider, here at GBS we are proud to
be supporting Levy employers with their training
plan and implementation of the levy funding. In April
2017 the UK Government introduced a new tax – The
Apprenticeship Levy – to help employers fund and train
more apprentices. The government, together with the
private sector, aims to train 3 million new apprentices by
2020. The tax applies to employers with an annual pay bill
of more than £3 million, who will need to pay 0.5% of their
pay bill towards the levy. The levy funds are to be spent on
approved apprenticeship training offered by eligible training
providers. Eligibility requires training organisations to be listed on
the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP). GBS
are an approved training organisation on RoATP and we can fully
support your organisation with the implementation and delivery of
a levy training programme. Levy-paying employers in England will
access funding through their digital apprenticeship service account.
The platform allows employers to select apprenticeship training from
the list of approved training providers as well as to post apprenticeship
vacancies.
Employers have a rolling 24-month window within which to spend their
funds (‘vouchers’) before they expire. The service uses funds that have
entered the account first whenever payments are made. If you need
support, please get in touch.

certainly of a high standard and quality.”
“Spearhead Compliance Training has been a pleasure to work with and the
