This poster is a campaign about health and how important it is to
drink water. This poster is made by the NHS, which shows they
are the anchor as the logo is at the top of the poster. The NHS is
the National Health Service which provides healthcare for UK
based citizens. This poster will inspire the audience to be
healthy and drink water as it comes from the NHS. This story of
this poster is showing how much water the human body has, this
uses statistics when it says “70%” giving the audience facts
about the human body. The message of this poster is that it is
important to drink as much water as possible to stay healthy;
also just because your body is 70% water that doesn’t mean you
don’t need to drink water. This poster appeals to a wide
audience; males and females of all ages as it is encouraging
everyone to drink water. Also it is a bright colour which shows
they would like the poster to stand out and make sure the
audience are aware. Although the text is small the words which
stand out are “70% water” making the audience want to read
more. The poster is also split in two which could show positive
and negatives as one side is brighter than the other. I think this
poster is affective as it is giving statistics raising questions to the
audience.
This poster is about drink driving. The anchor for this
poster is ‘Think’ which is a drink driving campaign, as
you can see their logo at the bottom also it has a website
which the audience will want to go to, and find out
more about the campaign . This poster is effective as it
uses a rhetorical question but also answers the question
with the writing on each of the bottles. On each of the
bottle it shows the possible problems with drink driving,
making the audience aware of all the things that could
happen to them if they drive under the influence. This
poster is effective as it will question the audience if
having the drink is worse the possible outcomes also it
shows the background of a bar where the audience may
be getting there drink from on a night out. The audience
for this poster is males and females with a driving
license as it is a driving campaign. The message of this
poster is not to drink and drive as you are putting
yourself at risk. The story for this poster is that is it
worth having that drink and getting caught drink driving
and facing fine, drinking ban, losing your job or a
criminal record or having a clean record/driving license.
This poster is a campaign about women rights, made by the
United Nations, this is an anchor as it is made by them. This is a
huge organization so it raises awareness. From this poster, the
audience will want to research and find out more about the UN
women campaign. The United Nations is an international
organization formed in 1945, they work to increase political and
economic cooperation among member countries. There are over
193 countries in the UN. The story of this poster is that it is
showing the search bar from Google, with the most popular
searches when “women need to” is being typed in, the results that
show up aren’t equal towards women and underneath tis it shows
an option that should be typed in which says women need to be
treated equal. The message of this poster is that women need to
be treated equally but also women don’t have a voice as they are
always judged they need to be heard. This poster appeals to a
wide audience as it is trying to get the message across to
everyone but mainly women as it is showing that they should not
get treated in the way things are written in the search box. This
poster is affective as it is using the right way to interact to the
audience by using the google search bar which everyone knows
about and uses but also covering her mouth with this as it is
showing women's voice is hidden and they never have a say.
