Hence, preventing FASD needs a multiprong approach ,including educating women early about harmful effect of alcohol to the fetus

Primary prevention of FASD Awarness of safe drinking for young population especially woman Instead of imposing and insisting to stop during pregnancy ,it is better to create a supporting environment by involving the partner encourage one to one discussion with the woman Help woman to choose a plan pregnancy Stop victim blaming and criticising woman for drinking
  8. 8. Create supportive environment for woman Don’t force a woman to drink alcohol if she is pregnant Partners and friends should understand the issue and encourage woman to keep away from drinking alcohol
