Schools In Chennai, Mumbai And Delhi 
Leading As Examples For The Rest Of India 
Schooling is the intrinsic requirement of a child’s grooming in all the civilized 
cultures of the world. For that same reason we have developed some distinct 
facets and orientations in the field of education through the theories and 
thoughts forwarded by noted educationists and philosophers of the world. The 
modern societies have worked upon these thoughts to produce educational 
systems of relevance, value and results that are clearly evidenced in the level of 
achievement that the society and economy today manifests. 
In fact, the aims and objectives of educational systems and processes have 
always been the ever refined social and economic development. The evolution of 
the education sector still continues, with the latter responding to the ever 
evolving needs’ array of the socio economic matrix. Some regions have however 
led educational development processes and have shown way for others to follow 
and replicate. In countries like India where two centuries of occupation 
produced backlashes, there were rejuvenation attempts and some prominent 
centers achieved potencies. Schools in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi 
among others became the institutions of finesse because the infrastructure was 
somewhat appropriate there from the time of occupation. These centers also 
saw the emergence of institutions of higher education. 
Experimenting with Education - 
The adoption process of modern education is still not complete and some 
backward regions of world are struggling to get inclusive and thus wait to reap 
the benefits. However, some frontline societies have begun experimenting since 
the yester decades. We can find interventional practices and mechanisms like 
convent schools, public schools, residential schools, international schools and 
the like. Chennai International School was among the first few experiments that 
were taken up through the private sector to serve resonant and dedicated 
educational needs. International schools have become more important because
their international curriculums offer good assimilation opportunities as for the 
global job offers and distinct national settings. 
The Disparities - 
While disparities do exist at the global level, the national level differentiations 
are also potent, especially in countries like India. Here the economic disparities 
have produced differentiations as for availing the educational choices that are 
available. These gaps still galore wide and are a challenge for the ruling regimes 
and associated planning quarters that struggle to achieve inclusive education 
targets. While private schools in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and other leading 
metros of India are achieving frontline characteristics, the government operated 
schools are a depleted lot in them. The governments – national and provincial 
are working out innovatively to bridge these gaps and bring the nation on the 
path of exponential success. 
Waiting for Optimizations 
Despite all the odds, the process of educational development is not retro 
directional and has advanced forward although the pace may differ from region 
to region. We are still working out corrections and this endeavor must continue 
for it is the defining characteristic of humans. Having performed well, it may not 
be an exaggeration to assume philosophically that someday optimizations will 
definitely manifest.
