“When we had to change camp locations,
I thought it would never be the same.
              And then I found
       it wasn’t about the buildings,
          it was about the people
             and the memories.”

Next Steps in the LRPP Process
On January 12, 2013, the GSEM Board voted to approve funding to
conduct property appraisals for The Center in Rowley and Paradise in
Beverly to determine current value and best use options.

GSEM has released a Request for Proposal to 3 area appraisers with
the goal of selecting an appraiser, conducting the appraisals and
issuing the final reports by May.

GSEM has been meeting with the Essex County Greenbelt Association
to determine strategies to identify parcels that would be considered
for conservation use.
Call To Action:
GSEM is taking on the challenge of identifying
opportunities to increase usage of properties by
encouraging staff and volunteers to consider conducting
meetings, programs, trainings and other activities on
properties to allow volunteers and girls to gain more
property specific experiences which will potentially
increase utilization and efficiencies.

  • 26. Next Steps in the LRPP Process On January 12, 2013, the GSEM Board voted to approve funding to conduct property appraisals for The Center in Rowley and Paradise in Beverly to determine current value and best use options. GSEM has released a Request for Proposal to 3 area appraisers with the goal of selecting an appraiser, conducting the appraisals and issuing the final reports by May. GSEM has been meeting with the Essex County Greenbelt Association to determine strategies to identify parcels that would be considered for conservation use.
  • 27. Call To Action: GSEM is taking on the challenge of identifying opportunities to increase usage of properties by encouraging staff and volunteers to consider conducting meetings, programs, trainings and other activities on properties to allow volunteers and girls to gain more property specific experiences which will potentially increase utilization and efficiencies.
