5. What is the Girl Effect Challenge?
• Fund will be split evenly among 12 projects for one year
– Girl Effect Fund: > $375,000 was raised in 2011
• 6 Winners determined by the number of unique donors
received during the Challenge
• 6 Winner chosen by the Girl Effect expert panel
– Selected based upon how they incorporate innovation into
their approach, curriculum, and work, as well as how they
effect positive change for marginalized adolescent girls.
