My one big dream: 10 seconds claim to fame

We are surrounded by multitude of brands in our day to day life. Some of them catch hold of our eyes
while others just pass by. In the midst of this advertisement world, I visualize myself as the face of a
product. I always imagine myself doing an ad in front of camera. Not only this I sometimes extend my
imagination to feel a glimpse of my fame.

This is not something instantaneous but a dream which I have always lived with. Since my childhood
days, I have a deep penchant to work on an advertisement. I always organize modeling cum ad
competition for my cousins at home. Being a part of joint family with 16 children is very beneficial, you
never run short of models to represent various well known brands, at least to start with. I always tried
and prepared some arbitrarily costume and theme for them and made them promote the brand. I derive
immense pleasure out of it. I have also won a couple of district level modeling competition. But like any
other girl, my story is no different. My parents wanted me to become an Engineer, a doctor or a lawyer,
the only professions which are worthy and respectable from their point of view. But as I grew up, this
dream lied deeply buried in my heart. Sometimes I tried to talk to my parents about it but they were
least interested in it. Therefore, I succumbed to their desire and completed my Engineering. But
somewhere in my heart even now I have deep desire to become a model may be not by profession but
for a change.

But when on 1st August Godrej came to our campus and talked about Godrej Loud, all my emotions
buried deep into my heart came alive and now again I want to chase my dream of modeling in an
advertisement.

Approach to be followed:

Portfolio Shoots: The first step is to have a best professional portfolio by a top reliable agency. This is
very important and critical as poor photo shoot as a model may not win any advertisement.

Model Promotion: Model Promotion is necessary to make me visible to the right people of the industry,
so with the help of model promotion company I plan to publish my profile promoting company’s
website, social networking sites and mailing it to various people related to media, fashion, modeling and
film industry. Also, send the profile to other fashion websites so that if they wish they can also put the
profile on their websites.

Casting Calls: It is a pre-production process for selecting a cast and is very critical for getting a break in
an actual live paid advertisement.

Advertising Shoots: Advertising photography can help me bag various prestigious Indian and
International print advertising campaigns. The promoter can undertake full advertising photo shoot and,
makeup & hairstyling, studio, location, fashion garments, creative concepts, photo retouching, props
etc. that are required to execute your advertising print ad shoot successfully.

The apportionment of the required budget would be as:

                        3. Outfits, Makeup & others            30,000.00
