                                Empowered By God

                                   King By Destiny

“Nimrod Returns” by Eric Wilkerson- 2010

“Brother G has again mined historical gold and forged it into a rod of modern
day cultural relevance, causing literary lightning to strike again!”

Max Rodriguez, Founder and Publisher of QBR The Black Book Review and
                         the Harlem Book Fair
“Mightiest of the mighty, hero in battle, let me sing his song!”

                                          Sumerian text, 2,000 B.C.

                                                Ancient Mesopotamia:

In the mysterious land of Elam, (modern day Iran) mentioned in ancient traditions as a land of magic and mythical
creatures, holes have somehow been torn between our world and other dimensions. From these rifts emerge
beings that possess, twist and change creatures of our realm, creating beasts mentioned in the Old Testament
called “Leviathan”(ancient Hebrew: “the twisted ones”). Responsible for myths the world over, most Leviathan are
merely curious animals, others are intelligent, while some thirst for conquest and destruction. The worst of these
creatures ally with the worst of humanity to tempt, seduce, spread death and corrupt men’s souls.

"May those who curse days curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan"
Job 3:8 NIV

Therefore a holy mandate is handed down to return these creatures to their rightful domains, or, when necessary,
to destroy them. To accomplish this sacred task an international coalition of priests develops a band of blessed,
incorruptible warriors. These defenders of the natural order and champions of the Tree of Life are called the
Mighty Capturers. And to lead them God sends an astonishing warrior-saint: the mysterious martial mystic
named Nimrod:

Genesis 10:8 “And Kush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.”

Crippled by cruelty designed to trap him in darkness forever, a tortured youth of pure heart raises unseeing eyes to
Heaven, receiving in return the blessing of special sensory perceptions. It is then that he begins to fulfill his destiny,
gaining mighty allies, learning powerful martial arts skills and earning the mystical tools of his sacred and
dangerous trade. Join Nimrod and his phoenix bird Allalu as they capture terrifying beasts, battle malicious martial
artists and slay demons that would lead humanity to damnation. Experience the earliest biblical hero as the
scriptures originally described him and as the Kushite traditions remember him - as a hunter in the service of God!

Genesis 10:9 “He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said,
“Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.”

African Legends Adventure fans old and new are invited to come aboard for volume 1 of this breakthrough series
combining biblical tradition, Mesopotamian lore, Kushite history and martial arts action. Witness mankind’s
earliest recorded hero as he learns to live the lesson that knowing God is meant to teach: the conquest of death
and pain!

‘I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days like the phoenix.’ Job 29:18

Plus a bonus essay entitled “Nimrod: The Original Sacred Tradition,” that clarifies for the first time why the God
inspired Kushites of Nimrod were the founders of world civilization. The hunt begins again, courtesy of the
visionary mind of “Brother G,” winner of the 2009 Octavia Butler Humanitarian Award for “Shades Of Memnon.”
“Nimrod” means nimr (leopard or big cat) rad (subduer) -literally “big cat subduer”. This pre-dynastic artifact
called the Gebel el-Arak Knife found in southern Egypt depicts one of the earliest representations of Nimrod
from around 3,300 BC! Other representations of this heroic tradition from the Sahara desert, Mesopotamia
and Sudan are even older. Nimrod represents an African tradition going back thousands of years concerning
high priests/hunters so at one with God that they could commune with nature, tame wild animals and combat
unseen forces of evil that corrupt man and beast. These priests helped lay the foundations for civilizations
by policing the natural order of creation and were thus “mighty hunters before the Lord!”

After 5000 years of mystery and hundreds of years of biblical misinterpretation, the foundational hero
from the dawn of recorded human history returns in a stunning new series of historical fantasy fiction.

Now the world shall once again know Nimrod!
ALLALU

In the history of fantasy, legend and spirituality there is no creature more mysterious and mystical
than the Phoenix bird. Known throughout the ancient world by various names, this
mythical/metaphorical beast seems to represent mankind's timeless fascination with the primordial
forces of the universe and the mysteries of life and death. The Phoenix bird is represented in the
ancient annals as an unstoppable force of nature that no man can tame, subdue or control. But
Nimrod, the mighty hunter who became the subject of biblical parable, was no ordinary man. Join the
adventure and see how the world's first recorded warrior-saint joins forces with a creature of
astonishing power- the legendary Phoenix bird Allalu.
