14. Exploration of features #1 – Text
• We used the text feature to experiment with different text over the image,
something that we will need to utilise within our digipak.
15. Exploration of features #2 – Draw
tool
• We used the text feature to experiment with the possibility of drawing on the
image to create a unique style, but we found that making an effective
drawing would be very difficult.
16. What did we learn?
• Firstly, we learned that the use of colour correcting and colour effects are
essential to a well-edited image, as they make the picture more eye-catching
and vibrant.
• Secondly, we learned that we will need to utilise the text feature for our
digipack as the artwork will need to display important information such as
the release date and artist credentials.
• Thirdly, we learned that the use of stylistic effects can make the image much
more intriguing and professional looking, as shown by our use of the bokeh
effect.
• Lastly, we importantly found that the use of a drawing tool would prove to
be very difficult as we may lack the ability to create a professional looking
drawing over the image, so we will stay away from this in our final digipack.
