Outlook for March
Manhattan Beach real estate activity picked up in February with positive trending stats logged for total
sales, medial days to sell, listings, sales/listing ratio, and months of inventory. Although the median
sales price dropped about 9% based on a month-to-month comparison, the year-over-year statistic for
February shows a 63% improvement or $790,500K.
With this in mind, expectations are high for March. The only possible drawback to better-than-average
performance figures is what influence, if any, the tax season will have on buyer’s behavior. Though, the
flip side to this coin is receiving a tax return and using the money to increase purchasing power. The
sound of this latter scenario I like!

Outlook for March Manhattan Beach real estate activity picked up in February with positive trending stats logged for total sales, medial days to sell, listings, sales/listing ratio, and months of inventory. Although the median sales price dropped about 9% based on a month-to-month comparison, the year-over-year statistic for February shows a 63% improvement or $790,500K. With this in mind, expectations are high for March. The only possible drawback to better-than-average performance figures is what influence, if any, the tax season will have on buyer’s behavior. Though, the flip side to this coin is receiving a tax return and using the money to increase purchasing power. The sound of this latter scenario I like!
