2. HELLO!I AM HAMEDTAHERDOOST,
the award-winning leader and R&D Professional, and the founder of
Hamta Group.
I have over two decades of experience in both industry and academic

researchers from various disciplines and have been actively engaged
in several academic and industrial research projects.

IGI Global, Inderscience, Taylor and Francis and have published
over 120 scientific articles, seven book chapters as well as six books in
the field of technology and research methodology.

6. What is Research Methodology
Methodology is the systematic, theoretical analysis of the methods
applied to a field of study.
It comprises the theoretical analysis of the body of methods and
principles associated with a branch of knowledge.
Methodology is useful to guide and help in order to obtain the objectives
of a research project.
This consists of the purpose, assumptions, limitations, philosophy,
strategy, data collection method, sampling method, scaling, data analysis,
validity and reliabilityof the research.

which should collect necessary information
for a study investigation and analyzing
matters.
o It increases the possibility to receive
appropriate answers.
o It provides systematic and universal technique
for collecting and observing the data.
o It can help to gain valuable conclusions.

8. Survey / Questionnaire
One of the important research tool is questionnaire.
Decision makers and researchers across all academic and industry
sectors conduct surveys and questionnaires to uncover answers to
specific, significant questions.
Surveys can be an effective tools for data collection required for
research and evaluation.
In order to develop a survey/questionnaire, first the researcher should
decide how to collect the required data. In this regard, scaling is the
branch of measurement that involves the construction of an
instrument.
