2. Magazines
In the world media usage has grown a lot in the last
10 years. The reason for this is because consumers
have made it much more easier for themselves to
gain daily media knowledge. This has been done in
many different ways, such as internet, television,
radio etc.
The amount of ways consumers can each out and
read media products is having a limited impact on
magazine.
92% of people read a magazine at least once a week.
All magazine reading consumers want to have the
choice of how they are going to read heir media
products, as some many ways have ways have been
produced for consumers to read magazines. 54% of
people have said that they only like the look and feel
of magazine which they choose to read. However
two thirds of consumers would still prefer to read a
paper copy of a magazine rather than an electronic
version of a magazine.
3. The Future of My
Magazine
•After finding the research which I have just shown, this tells
me that even though a lot of consumers prefer to read a paper
copy of a magazine. I am still going to have an online website
for my magazine Asian Beatz. The reason for this is because
even though people are more interested in reading paper
copies of magazines, in the near future all this will change and
a lot more people will start to read magazine via internet.
•This is why I am still going to create an online segment for my
magazine, as if people do stop reading paper copies of my
magazine it will still have an online segment where they will be
able to read my magazine from.
