Bus Company Stagecoach set to host live interactive Tweet the Director
session
On Thursday 9th October national travel company Stagecoach will be running a “Tweet the Director”
session on Twitter to gain instantaneous, valuable feedback from customers and answer questions
about local bus services.
This session will be held in honour of national Customer Service Week which takes place annually
from 6-12 October.
Steven Stewart, Stagecoach group director of communications, commented “Stagecoach Group’s bus
and rail services are used by around three million customers a day. Passengers are increasingly
using Twitter to get fast service updates and answers to questions about their travel.”
The company has also launched its annual Customer Service Stars competition, where customers
can vote for their favourite Stagecoach Yorkshire, Sheffield and Chesterfield driver online at
www.stagecoachbus.com.
Stagecoach services in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire currently have an impressive track
record of customer satisfaction, with a recent customer research exercise showing that 100 per cent
of Stagecoach customers in Chesterfield intended to travel with the company again, followed by 99
per cent in Sheffield, and 97 per cent in Barnsley and the Dearne Valley.
Paul Lynch, managing director of Stagecoach Yorkshire said “Customer service is absolutely critical
to our business and it something we are always looking to improve on every day- not just during
Customer Service Week.”
