Proteins are at the heart of molecular biology which enable cells to differentiate, thrive and adapt in both health and disease. Understanding the intricate biology underlying the expression, modifications, and interactions of proteins will provide insights into molecular mechanisms of disease to develop novel diagnostics and treatment strategies. The dynamic expression and interactions that proteins have present analytical and bioinformatical challenges that require novel technologies for their analysis.
