Duties:
• Plan and develop annual budget for successfully meeting the
company’s OH&S and EMS related requirements ensuring
availability of adequate resources for a safe, healthy work and
operational environment.
• Collaborate with all the concerned (QA Manager and
Divisions/Departments) and develop and implement appropriate
OH&S and EMS related regulations, processes and procedures to
reduce the risk of non-compliance and improve employees’
occupational safety and health, and EMS related performance
across the organization.
• Monitor and track the performance and progress of the systems
constantly and ensure strict compliance (identify non-compliances,
deficiencies, lapses and risks and establish appropriate
mechanisms operationally and administratively and establish
unfailing compliance) contributing to sustainable development.
• Ensure safety and fire protection systems are in place for all areas
of operation including work sites.
• Collaborate with QA Manager to ensure EMS related regulations,

• Manage environmental processes, regulatory requirements and
risk initiatives across the organization in coordination with QA
Manager & Managers of Operations Division. Ensure Emergency
Drills are carried out periodically for all identified emergency
situations in order to have the company prepared to handle
emergencies.
• Analyse potential impacts on the company, from non-compliance
and provide Operations and Management with appropriate
information and recommendation for improvement. Ensure
management of relevant information and data and their
maintenance for records, evaluation of progress, enforcement and
history.
• Ensure coordination and engagement of all the concerned
personnel in the organization in the identification of non-
compliance, supplying of remedial actions and effective
implementation of the systems.

HSE systems to be familiar with standard concepts, practices,

consultation with Project and Construction Managers,
incorporating requested customer modifications within applicable
standards and regulations. Works with Project Manager,
Construction Manager and others to ensure that the project layout
with regard to facilities; equipment, etc. is in compliance with
occupational safety, health, environmental and security standards
and regulations.

5. • Provides technical advice and guidance to project site personnel
on applicable occupational safety; health, environmental and
security standards and regulations.
• Coordinates with Project and Construction Managers on the
application of occupational safety, health, environmental and
security standards, and ensures that all OSH equipment e.g. fire
suppression systems, are in place and fully operational.
• Monitors the application of occupational health, safety,
environmental and security standards and takes remedial action,
as appropriate,
• Maintains occupational safety and health records consistent with
internal and external reporting requirements.
