7.2 Beyond –the-Book Exercise
In this BTB exercise, you will learn how to use a text editor such as Notepad to create a basic HTML
document. In your HTML document you will need to include the following elements:
1) Your name as the title and at least 2 paragraphs of text
2) Add at least one hyperlink of your choice to the page
3) Select a graphic of your choice to add to the page. Make sure it’s not too big to load quickly
(usually web graphics are not bigger than 72dpi)
4) Save your webpage in an .html format and test locally in an internet browser
5) Provide a screenshot of both the HTML code/tags and as it appears in the browser
