• I selected this post because If I look back on
the past year this incident stands out the most
in my mind as the most viral thing on social
media. Also being born in 1995 I watched him
play my entire life and he was the best player
while I was growing up. No one threw
something away in my class without shooting
the trash and saying KOBE. Legends don’t
come very often.

accused of rape and we should not
idolize him

a generation type talent. A lot of people die
everyday but not everyday does someone this
famous die so unexpectedly in a helicopter
crash.

of Kobe was ridiculous. I could not go a
day without talking to someone about

• This viral post came as a shock to society. People lost their role
model. When I heard the news, I could not believe it and nor could
the people I was with. The news broke it felt like it was a worldwide
tragedy. Even people who did not watch sports were impacted by
Kobe Bryant and others death that day on the helicopter.
