money; advance professionally; educational
progress.
Eph. 3:20-21: Goals may seem lofty, but
remember that God can do more than we ask or
think.
3. Plans for personal growth.
Congregational growth begins with your
growth (Eph. 4:15-16; I Cor. 12:14-27).
A local body is only as strong as what the
individual joints supply.
Improve your prayer life (I Thess. 5:17).
Improve your Bible study (I Pet. 2:2).
Actively participate in every assembly and
class (Acts 2:42).
4. Plans for evangelism.
Great Commission wasn’t a suggestion; it’s a
command to everybody (Mark 16:15).
Invite and recommend this church to people
without fearing rejection (I Thess. 4:8).
John 13:35: Unbelievers recognize disciples
by their deeds of love for one another.
Increase your ability to teach others (Rom.
10:13-15).
5. Plans for congregational involvement.
Acts 2:46-47: A key to success is our
relationships.
Eph. 4:11-13: Body of Christ is built up.
How a congregation will grow (Eph. 4:15-16;
Rom. 12:6-8; I Pet. 4:10-11).
Each of us have gifts from God—use them!
God’s hand is always with us (Acts 11:21).
It will be an exciting year for you and us if you
want to make it an exciting year.
