To restore Lake Erie to full health, we must reduce the amount of stormwater runoff it absorbs. Fortunately, green infrastructure can provide relatively low-cost solutions that contribute to this restoration. This workshop explores green infrastructure policies, programs, and projects in the City of Cleveland, leading to more effective stormwater management.

The design provided storm water storage volume for up to a 50 year, 25 hr storm event. A storm event greater than 50 yrs will overflow into the existing catch basins.
UNDER DRAIN: The pipe was sized to limit storm water outflow into the combined sewer system at a maximum 10 year, 24 hour rain event. This helps ( in a small way ) to limit the overflows of the combined sewers into local streams and rivers by reducing the volume in these sewers.TREES:WPC transplanted 4 trees and left 1 in place. The contractor adjusted the design of the rain garden around the existing tree.
