alliance named SkyTeam Cargo, partnering ten airlines (of which all are
SkyTeam members) after China Airlines Cargo joined in October 2012.
Had its largest expansion in 2004 when Continental Airlines, KLM, and
Northwest Airlines joined as full members at the same time.
Observed its 10th anniversary in 2010 when a special livery was introduced
and the status of four airlines was joining or upgrading; this was followed by
the statements of Aerolíneas Argentinas, China Airlines, and Garuda
Indonesia to achieve full member status.
Announced the addition of both Saudi Arabian Airlines and Middle East
Airlines in January 2011, events that efficiently took effect in May and June
2012, respectively; the memberships of Aerolíneas Argentinas and Xiamen
Airlines took effect in August and November, respectively, that same year.
Operates flights to more than 1,000 destinations in 178 different countries;
