A manufacture producing packaging had a very tight
window of importing product into China prior to their
licence expiring.
A Horizon team member flew to Scotland on the
first available flight from Heathrow, they were met
by a courier who drove them to the manufacturing
plant where the items were going through their final
quality approval and sign off. They immediately flew
back to London where they met a connecting flight
to Hong Kong with just 60 minutes to spare. The
items were Hand Carried, cleared and delivered to
the customer before the Import licence expired.
An Irish based company required urgent
ingredients from the USA to complete the
manufacture of a new product.
A vehicle was waiting on site to collect the items
as they became available Friday afternoon,
and were immediately taken to Chicago Airport
in time to meet the last flight of the evening
using our Time Critical services. The goods
arrived in the UK, where they cleared customs,
and were delivered to the customer in Ireland
by 5pm Saturday afternoon.
A customer had completed their first batch of
a new product and required the goods to be
moved urgently within a temperature controlled
environment to the USA.
The goods were packed on site into a special aircraft
container where dry ice was used to keep the
products at a stable temperature for the duration
of the journey. The goods were then transferred
to Heathrow arriving 90 minutes before flight
departure. Customs clearance arrangements were
made prior to arrival in the US enabling expedited
release of the goods for a dedicated refrigerated
vehicle to complete the movement on time.
