in Dryland Economics and Agro ecosystem Management (BSc DEAM)

ISTVS is a regional institution located in Sheikh, in the highlands of the Sahil

strengthen IGAD member states skills and human resource base for pastoralist’

Admission criteria for all ISTVS courses
Pass ISTVS Entrance Examination (English, mathematics, biology, chemistry,
physics)
Attend 3 month ISTVS Foundation Course (English, mathematics, biology,
chemistry, physics, Information Technology) and pass Foundation Course
examination
to sit the ISTVS Entrance Examination, but may be exempted from the
Foundation Course and its examination
How to apply?
Compiled application form – downloaded from ISTVS or IGAD websites
secondary school, a copy of the school enrolment form or examination ID or
an authenticated letter specifying the school attended

Copy of ID card or passport
Student current contact address (valid email address, telephone number)
Scholarships - depending on availability of funds, scholarships may be awarded
following successful completion of the ISTVS Foundation Course.
