SBL Company in Gabon has made progress in timber deep processing. It has invested nearly 50 million euros to reconstruct and expand existing factories. Three new veneer production lines and three sawmill lines have been established, with annual production capacities of 36,000 cubic meters and 50,000 cubic meters respectively. A new drying system can dry 20,000 cubic meters of sawn timber per year. SBL plans to further invest in flooring, composite flooring and furniture manufacturing to contribute to "Made in Gabon". However, timber deep processing in Gabon faces challenges like lack of supporting industries, shortage of skilled workers, and lower asset operation efficiency compared to China.

SBL Co. invests nearly 50 million Euros in Gabon for its Phase I project. It conducted large-scale

 加蓬当地产业配套较少，没有产业集群效应。
 There’s not industrial cluster effect because of less supporting
industries in Gabon.
