FUNDING

This course is designed to provide participants with an indepth knowledge and practical
skills in handling the whole process of project management specifically relating to
Erasmus+, the EU Programme 20142020 for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.
The course will address these objectives:
● EU institutions structure, functioning and policies, and with an understanding of the
EU funding methods and Project Cycle Management tools and techniques. At the end
of the course, participants will be able to coordinate and manage European projects
according to the guidelines set by the European Commission.
● To gain specific competences and skills. The course didactic method is based on a
practiceoriented approach, which aims at transferring knowledge through a
learningbydoing process. Participants acquire specific skills on: acquire knowledge
and practical information about EU policies and funding opportunities 20142020
(Especially Erasmus +) through specific and projectoriented learning session.
● Learn and get guidance on Project Cycle Management, structuring the project idea
and drafting a EU project, Project management, implementation and reporting.
● Learn and get guidance on the preparation and management of application form,
budget and contractual aspects through concrete examples and direct evidence.
● Learn how to follow the project design from the preparatory phase to the follow up;
● improve their relationship skills for working in group and cooperating with different
partners in a crosscultural environment.
● How to build successful partnerships with national and international organizations;
● Acquire knowledge about successful projects and best practices related to european
funds; Share experiences and points of view through intercultural exchanges
structured according to a problem solving approach.

Methodology and objectives presentation with learning needs analysis
Overview on EU Programmes 20142020 and Erasmus+: general objectives, important
features, institutions involved
Some experiences about our prior projects, case analysis, best practices
Project work: How to prepare a successful proposal
Day 3
Inside Erasmus+: Centralised and Decentralised actions,

Day 4
Focus on Key Action 2: Sector Skills Alliances and Strategic Partnership
