While ITIL may have gotten a bad rep lately (for being too slow, or bureaucratic), there’s no denying it is essential – and deeply rooted – in the IT operations of many large-scale enterprises. - How does process fit into DevOps? - Traffic jam of automation You can only automate delivery so much, but if a change is stuck in “change management”, then you still do not have a continuous process Can be a delay between approvals and delivery How do you expedite approvals? Automate where it makes sense
