Ian worked at Crestwood Valley Day Camp during the summers of 2013 and
2014. He worked in the capacity of camp counsellor, supervising children
between the ages of 6 and 8 years of age.
During his time as Crestwood, Ian distinguished himself as an outstanding
member of our team. Ian showed excellent leadership skills and took his role at
Crestwood very seriously. He exemplified confidence in his abilities and was
always willing to help in any capacity.
He was a leader among his co-workers and a role model for other staff around
camp. Ian proved to be an approachable leader who always demonstrated
patience, kindness and respect to superiors, peers and campers. He was
responsible, mature and a hard worker. His genuine efforts at camp and his
compassion and empathy made his time at Crestwood very successful.
Ian made great connections with his campers. He provided his campers with
great energy, motivation and spirit. Ian was very dedicated to his role at
Crestwood and his commitment was always evident. He showed great initiative
in every task and was a positive force in the camp environment.
