2. There is more than 50% dropout rate
during primary education
• About 39% of primary and 54.6% of upper
primary students are dropout
• Teacher student ratio national average is 34
but in some states it is as high as 68.
CAUSES OF THE PROBLEM
• Financial condition of family
• Unawareness among adult about
education
• Insufficient quality and quantity of
teachers
3. Proposed Solution
• As there are insufficient number of teachers in schools, so the
students of upper class(vi to viii) will teach the student of lower
classes coherently with their own education.
• To lure the families of the village children, proper stipend
(amount of Rs 200) will be provided to those students who are
teaching.
• A PPP(Public Private Partnership) model can be very helpful in
fulfilling the infrastructure need for the village level school.
Students of upper primary classes(vi to viii) will teach the
student of primary classes coherently with their own education
5. Institutes teaching primary teachers
Unemployed villagers trained as
teachers
Privately funded and managed institutes
People working in NGO’s in
teaching and learning process
6. Ngo’s helping teachers in teaching
Students of upper primary level trained
to teach
Teachers teaching primary students
Teachers given incentive to teach in
remote areas
7. Students given pay to teach
This will promote parents to send
their children to learn and teach
Students teaching lower class students
The students thus taught will grow
up to teach upcoming student
8. Salient features
• Self sustainable system
• Sufficient number of teacher generated
• Child labour reduced
• Poverty will reduced
• Earning while learnig
10. Challenges faced by our model
•To identify the NGOs willing to
participate in our model.
•Development of institute to
develop teachers
•Training of Higher class Students to
teach the students of lower class.
11. BUDGET
We are paying Rs.200 to each student per month
Therefore for around 12 crores (registered student)
for one year =28800 crores
For Per student Cost of mid day meal per month= Rs.105
and we are paying Rs. 200
So, we are saving around Rs. 95 per student.
