INOFEA is a Swiss high-tech spin-off based in Basel. INOFEA designs, develops, produces,
and commercializes a set of innovative nanomaterials with remarkable recognition properties
to be embedded in high-value industrial applications and products. From reusable nano-im-
mobilized enzymes to silica-based virus imprints, INOFEA can design efficient solutions for

Our products
The technology at the base of INOFEA consists in designing recogni-
tion platforms on the basis of a core particle, on which various chemical
building blocks are assembled to produce a recognition site. Our prod-
ucts are designed to be embedded in and drastically improve industrial
processes dedicated to the detection, removal or transformation of target
compounds in complex conditions.

Our line of products consists of:
                               Is a formulation of laccase immobilized onto non-toxic nanoma-
                               terial, which remains very active in harsh environments.


                               Is an enzyme used to remove lactose from milk during the pro-
                               duction of lactose-free dairy products. The product is still in the
                               development stage.

                               Is a virusimprinted particle (VIP). VIRofea is a 400 nm diame-
                               ter nanoparticle with many virus specific recognition sites. The
                               product is still in the development stage.

                               PHARMofea consists of a series of nanomaterials based on a
                               cyclodextrin core with various building blocks that have inherent
                               affinity for the target pharmaceutical compounds. The product is
                               still in the development stage.
