6. What is a Mind Map?
• A mind map is a diagram used to represent:
– Words
– Ideas
– Tasks
– Or other items linked to and arranged around a
central theme.
• In a Mind Map, information is structured in a
way that resembles closely how the brain
actually works.
• Tony Buzan states, ““…the ultimate
organizational thinking tool –the Swiss army
knife of the brain!
