• Comminuted- When bone is broken into more

7. • Green stick Fracture:-
It is usually occurs in childhood. it is most
common fracture in young children, The soft
bone breaks on outside and bents.
8. Clinical Features
• 1.Age- Fracture is common in old and children
then in young persons i.e in extremes of age.
Eg.- Greenstick Fracture- Mostly in case of
Children.Fracture of neck of femur- Mostly in
case of Old.
• 2.Sex:-Fracture of neck of femur and colles
Fracture are more common in female.
• 3.History:- History of trauma, Violence,
disease Etc
9. Symptoms
• 1.Pain and tenderness, swelling and deformity.
• 2.Loss of function.
• 3.Abnormal mobility.
• 4.Restricted movement.
• 5.Complication
10. Signs
• General– Nothing particular, if there is no
shock.
• Local-
i. Inspection- Swelling, deformity or gout.
ii. Palpation-Tenderness
iii. Movement-Restricted
iv. Measurement–Shortening if overlapping
v. Special– Crepitation
12. Management
• Goals
• To regain and maintain correct position
and alignment.
• To regain the function of involved part.
• To return the patient to usual activities in
the shortest time and at the least expenses.
