  1. Hi, I am Irit Hillel. I was the head of Mattel Media Europe, and founder of a kids PC games company that I sold to Mattel. I’m here to tell you about my latest project.
  2. Everyone knows that English learning is in high demand. especially in the fast growing economies of Asia and LATAM. Parents realize English is a key to their kids success.However, several issues make English education very expensive – constant shortage skilled native English-speaking teachers at schools drive parents to resort to expensive private education –In Korea parents spend $200 /month on English for their kids.
  3. Our mission is to fill that gap.In a collaboration between English Adventure, with a proven method, and my team of gaming and digital media experts, we are set to bring English learning to kids across the world on mobile devices.So kids can learn at home, at their own pace, and also have fun, with native English at their finger tips.
  4. I began to realize there is an opportunity here when I saw two years ago tablets and smartphones become little kids’ new favorite toys. And this is happening in the same markets that want English learning most.While you’d think the the app stores are already filled with games and apps --– todayonly a fraction of the $40B English learning market is Digital platforms!(China, Brazil, Russia, Korea, India, Japan)
  5. English Adventure also recognized this opportunity. This is one of the first companies in the world that created a method especially adapted to young kids, that became very successful – over 75,000 kids in Israel and Thailand learn with this program, with excellent achievements. what’s special about EA’s method: anyone can teach it, and kids enjoy learning with it. It is perfectly suited to take to the next step- mobile devices.
  6. In the next 2 years we are planning to build a full line of apps based on English Adventure’s method, covering all the main language skills
  7. Our first two apps will be coming to the app store this spring! Vocabulary game based on a game engine we built, and an interactive book
