1. Fundraising
Paying It. Forward.
From food banks to shelters to community organizations, a large portion of
activities require money from those who are able to give.
It’s from people like our friends, our parents, and our neighbours that help create a
better tomorrow for everyone.
And with this activity, you can also see what it’s like to be on the other side and try
to raise funds.
While this event is optional, those who would like to raise money will be doing it for
our AMA Youth Programs - so it goes back into activities that directly affect you!

2. Fundraising
Here’s what we need from you!
1. Come up with a plan to raise money
(a bake sale, lemonade stand, a charity event.. anything!).
2. Whatever you decide to do, any money raised needs to be brought to the
masjid
during the last week of the Olympics
3. All funds will be counted for points towards the Olympics

1. This is open to juniors (9-13 years old) and seniors (14-18 year old)
2. The event is open to brothers only
3. Any money raised must be brought to the masjid on or before Sunday,
August 15th.
4. You must have your participant ID when coming to the masjid so we
can track it in the program
5. Points will be awarded per dollar
