2. Racism is a system of structuring opportunity and assigning
value based on physical properties such as skin color and
hair texture racism, also called racialism, the belief that
humans may be divided into separate and exclusive
biological entities called “races”; that there is a causal link
between inherited physical traits and traits of personality,
intellect, morality, and other cultural and behavioral
features; and that some races are innately superior to others.

By providing equal opportunities to everyone keeping aside the prejudice of fair and dark skin one
, we can explore the potential ability of the person in whole.
Since childhood a boy or a girl should be made aware that we leave in a society where everyone is different
in colour, caste and creed . But then also we possess one thing in common that is humanity , we need to be
kind with those who are different from us they possess something that is god's gift and it is not to be
mocked, people differ in possessing potential and one must respect it.
6. On January 29, 2014, a young guy named Nido
Taniam was beaten to death in the Lajpat Nagar
area of Delhi, the reason he looked simply
different.
In 2016 two young guys from Mizoram were
beaten in Banglore for not speaking their local
language.
Two students from Nagaland were brutally
tortured for hours by local men in Goregaon to
teach them a lesson that you don't belong here.
They said, "if you Northeast people come here
we will kill you. "

7. ``The study revealed that the hate
crime & racial discrimination against
people from the northeast is deep-
rooted even in the cosmopolitan
cities. Most of them faced problem
while renting house, even in
restaurants they faced issues forcing
them to eat mostly in eateries run by
people from their communities.
These issues cannot be solved by
policing alone".

in such a way that those
who are not getting life

Introduction of a new law making hate offences against
North-Easterners non bailable, with imprisonment
extendable up to three years or five years with a fine.
Setting up a helpline number by the government so that
victims of this society menace can reach out for support
and help .
Setting up of a dedicated panel of lawyers to fight legal
cases for Northeastern victims, with 50% of them being
women.
Most significantly, the creation of fast track courts for
handling any racial cases concerning the Norteasterners.
To share the issues faced by the Norteasterners, the
Committee's report suggested few measures and
legal reccommendations.
