This document discusses how to make the strategic case for implementing ORCID at an organization. It provides an overview of the ORCID engagement team and their goals for the session, which is to help participants effectively present the benefits of ORCID to managers and decision makers. Some key benefits mentioned are streamlining workflows, improving attribution and disambiguation of authors, increasing research exposure, and future-proofing as more funders and publishers mandate ORCID use. Participants engage in a group activity to discuss how to best present these benefits based on their organization's needs and priorities.
