4. RATIONALE
Buko Juice and Biko are most common
traditional food that students love to eat.
The absence of these products in the
canteen will give us an advantage. Students
will buy if they find out that available foods
in main canteen area is not good or they
don't like it.
6. OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives of this market research are the
following:
Determine the estimated percentage of students that
preferred to buy buko juice in the school canteen.
Determine the estimated percentage of students that
preferred to buy biko in the school canteen.
What grade level is buko juice and biko is highly
preferred?
8. METHOD
The researcher will use a quantitative research method
using survey as its primary gathering procedure. The
respondents are selected Holy Cross Academy Inc.
students from Grade 7-12 of which a random selection
of five students per section will answer the survey
question. Online survey will be utilized since students
are still on their homes. After the data will be collected,
it will process by a simple statistical treatment using
percentage.

14. CONCLUSION
Based on the result, the following conclusions are drawn:
• The percentage of students who will buy BUKO JUICE
if it is being sold in the canteen is 83.75%.
• The percentage of students who will buy BIKO if it is
being sold in the canteen is 81.25%.
• Grade 8 St. Albert and St. Cecilia Martyr, Grade 10 St.
JMV, St. Regina, ABM11, and STEM 12 are sections
that highly preferred Buko Juice with all (100%)
respondents will buy.
15. CONCLUSION
Based on the result, the following conclusions are drawn:
• Grade 9 St. Teresa, Grade St. JMV, Grade 11 ABM, Grade
11 STEM, Grade 12 ABM, STEM, and HUMMSS are
sections that highly preferred BIKO with all (100%)
respondents will buy.
17. RECOMMENDATION
The following recommendations are based on the
conclusions drawn.
• Buko Juice is preferred by the students and
majority of the population will buy.
• Biko is preferred by the students and majority of
the population will buy.
• As target market has been established, certainly
the focus must be now shifted to the quality of the
product.
