The Visiting Church Ministries aims to strengthen and evangelize seniors confined to assisted living facilities who are unable to regularly attend local churches. It provides non-denominational church services, Bible teaching, and spiritual support to nursing homes, memory care facilities, and hospitals. The ministry seeks to prevent spiritual isolation and bring faith, hope, and the gospel to those at risk. It currently serves over 10 communities and has had a positive impact on residents and beyond to their families and facility staff. Support is requested to expand this work to additional communities in 2013.

• The purpose and mission of The Visiting Church is to
come alongside these often forgotten communities to
Adopt, Sheppard & Evangelize these brothers and sisters
so they don’t become spiritual orphans in our local church
neighborhoods.
• But rather, that their faith is strengthened empowered
and revitalized in the name of Jesus. For those who don’t
already have a saving relationship with Christ and whose
souls are at eternal risk, our prayer is that the Lord softens
hearts and opens doors for grace to enter in, for the word
of God to come alive and save souls on the doorstep of life.

5. Meeting A Local Need…And Reaching
Beyond
• Unfortunately, availability and access to relevant
and consistent spiritual enrichment is scarce in many
of these communities. The Visiting Church fills this
void and meets this need with consistent and
intentional experiences that nurture faith and share
hope during a very difficult season in life.
• God’s power and spirit is stoking fires of revival and
working through TVC. This presence not only blesses
the residents but has a significant impact on their
families, caregivers and community employees. The
blessings are multiplying outside these communities
and the truth of the Gospel is spreading.
