To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write on behalf of Ms. Jaclyn Kennek. Ms. Kennek has
established herself as a respected member of the English department and faculty in the Morris Hills
Regional District. As her direct supervisor, I have watched her take responsibility for a diverse group
of students from various cultures, classifications, and learning styles, and teach them life skills,
confidence, responsibility, and most importantly, to love learning. She was originally hired to cover a
leave replacement, however, was hired in a tenure-track position as of December 2014. Unfortunately,
due to a decline in enrollment, a position within the English Department has been eliminated. I am so
sorry to lose Ms. Kennek. She has been such a positive energy in the department and the building.
Any school district would be very lucky to have her on board.
As I witnessed Ms. Kennek’s journey through her time with us, it became apparent rather quickly that
she has a sincere devotion and dedication to helping students find success. She approaches each day
with a fresh attitude; teaching, leading, and guiding all students, not just her own. She has since
become a welcomed addition to the English department and overall culture of Morris Hills High
School. She continues to display an incredible energy and a refreshing outlook as he faces the many
challenges found in teaching multiple levels. She is sensitive to the needs of each student, flexible,
reliable, and as a result of her efforts, has quickly gained the respect of her students, fellow teachers,
and administrators. Most of all, Ms. Kennek maintains a consistent positive energy and a refreshing
outlook as she faces the many challenges of the high school curriculum and experience.
I am confident in Ms. Kennek’s capabilities and I know that she is extremely passionate about her
work. She will be entering your district with the qualities of a respected thinker and educator, an
enthusiasm for learning, and a resolute desire to do the very best she can with her students. I have
observed her in the classroom and watched her grow and evolve as a first-year teacher, and I have been
very pleased with her progress. She is delightful and willing to do whatever it takes to be the best
educator she can be. She is without a doubt an ideal candidate and it is my pleasure to recommend her
for employment. If you would like to discuss her qualifications further, please do not hesitate to
contact me at (973) 664-2259.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Toriello
