1. Give Without Want

What Does It Mean To Give Without Want?
To give without want is to give something to someone else without wanting or expecting anything in
return.
For example:
When I give you my energy and my passion when writing this blog post, I do not expect anything in return. I
do this because I would like to see what I am doing passed on to others by the actions of others inspired by
my own.
Practice giving without want, and you will effectively be training yourself to give off positive
energy vibes. Remember that saying ‘what goes around comes around’? Well, send out good things by
giving selflessly and good things will come back to you full circle.
How Often Do You Give Without Want?
If you would like good things to come your way on a weekly basis, make it a point to do at least one good
deed for that week by taking an action to give something of value to someone else and not ask or want
anything in return.
If you would like to experience these good energy vibes more often, do them daily, this is one of those
things that can’t really be over done. The world could always use more people who give positive value
daily.
Give, And You Shall Receive!
Have you ever heard of the saying ‘ask and you shall receive’?
Well, it’s true!
When you ask for something, the universe tends to unfold in a harmonious way that makes it possible for
you to get exactly what you ask for.
When you give without want, you are asking the universe for more of the same.

2. Don’t confuse this with actually asking for something in return…
See, we all want things, and we tend to ask ourselves to make our wants become something tangible we
can hold proudly, however, as you know, just asking for something isn’t enough…
You need to lead by example…
For example:
When you were a child, someone most likely told you ‘treat others the way you want to be treated’. Well,
treat others with generosity by making it a point to give without want, and others will catch onto your
positive actions like it’s contagious.
Actually I think it is contagious!
Have you ever seen another person hold a door open for an old lady, and then you were compelled to do it
a day later? Then only a few days after you had done your good deed, you see someone else following
your example?
EXACTLY!
Give without want, and you incidentally end up getting exactly what you asked for through your actions.
It really is true that actions speak louder than words.
Give some value to someone today, and do it knowing that by what you give them, you will get in return 10
fold because that’s the way the natural order of things work.
