Jason Mitchell
Jason Mitchell was Born on January 5, 1987; Mitchell began his
acting career in minor films such as the 2012 action-thriller
Contraband and the 2013 neo-noir Broken City.
However, his breakthrough role came in 2015 when he
portrayed the rapper Eazy-E in the biopic Straight Outta
Compton. The film was highly successful, and Mitchell's
performance was critically acclaimed.

After his success in Straight Outta Compton, Mitchell went
on to appear in several other major films, such as Keanu
(2016), Barry (2016), The Disaster Artist (2017), and Kong:
Skull Island (2017). He also appeared in critically acclaimed
films such as Detroit (2017), Mudbound (2017), and Zola
(2021).

In addition to his film work,
Mitchell has appeared in several
television series. He made guest
appearances in the Amazon
Studios limited series Philip K.
Dick's Electric Dreams (2018) and
Alan Yang's dark comedy series
Forever. He also starred in Lena
Waithe's Showtime series The Chi
from 2018 to 2019.

Mitchell's film career began in 2011 when he
played a minor role as a 7-Eleven cashier in
the Texas Killing Field crime film. He
continued to appear in minor roles in films
such as Contraband and Broken City until he
was cast as Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton
in 2014

2016, MITCHELL APPEARED IN THE
COMEDY FILM KEANU, WHICH
STARRED KEEGAN-MICHAEL KEY
AND JORDAN PEELE.
He also appeared in the Netflix
biopic about Barack Obama titled
Barry. In 2017, he starred as a
Vietnam War officer in the
blockbuster monster movie Kong:
Skull Island.
