4. STEP 3 –GO TO “WINDOWS” AND “SYSTEM 32”

5. STEP 4 –OPEN “DRIVERS” THEN “ETC”

What you can do with your hosts file now is add servers you can connect to using Windows, with updates and much more. iTunes uses the hosts file to connect to Apple servers to verify updates and device software. You can add different values to hosts to change this.WARNING:If you are unsure what to do with your hosts file, do NOT edit any properties or add values. This could cause your system to be faulty and you may not be able to use some programs. Edit the hosts file at your OWN risk.Usually, programs will AUTOMATICALLY update “hosts” if need be.This could be because of confirming something, just like iTunes does with Apple.
