Vuvox allows you to create interactive slideshows and presentations from photos, video and music. Vuvox is a
wonderful web2.0 tool that we can use in education .It allows you to stitch together your photos, videos, and music into
rich personal and appealing presentations. It is basically a multimedia collage and slideshow making tool.
Here are the main features that Vuvox service offers to its users:
• It is completely free
• It is easy to use, instant and simple
• It allows you to share your personal media with the rest of the world
• It lets you customize you media just the way you like it
• You can add your feeds to your own media
• You can edit your images and crop parts you don't like
• You can upload images from Flicker, Smug Mug or Picasa
• It also allows you to include videos into your collage
• It allows you to mix all your multimedia into a nice slideshow to share with your students or colleagues.

3 ways to create: Express, Collage, Studio.

9. Vuvox Express: This option is very fast but provides just few tools. When you log on to Vuvox Express you will be working
on this platform
Use EXPRESS to build presentations with dynamic content from RSS feeds and online albums. U can choose only online
photos; there are different styles and variations to make your presentation more dynamic.

10. Vuvox Collage: This service offers a wider range of option such as:
• drag and drop interfaces
• placement of interactive multimedia that include direct links and presentations
• an easy to use cut-out tool
• video and audio assets
Use COLLAGE to quickly produce dynamic interactive panoramas with hot-spots. We can publish our collage.
“My Media” allow us to select our own media (images, audio, videos, and graphics) from computer and upload it to be able to
work with it. Or we can download media from online apps like Smug Mug… We can add text boxes by clicking on the letter A
and musical background to whole the collage by clicking on the musical note sign, and by using settings we can change the
background. To edit the collage name we click on the “Untitled Collage” and we can change it and also add descriptions.

11. Cut out tool:
You click on the scissors and the cut out tool will appear.
You can click on learn more to learn about how to use the cut out tool.
If you want to add hot spots you click on the icon next to the cut out button then u can add descriptions or videos….
“My Cuts Out” is where the cuts out will be saved.

12. Vuvox Studio: Use STUDIO to build a personalized media presentation... and, place it in your COLLAGE.
There are three steps to start using Vuvox Studio:
1- Collect: click on collect to upload your photos be it from the web or your computer
This step is to collect the media that you want to use in your presentations. You can upload it from your computer; search the
web, from Flickr, or Picasa.

14. 2- Create: click on create to choose a presentation style and use the tool bar on the right hand side to customize it and add
things to it .
First you start by choosing one of the 14 styles you want to work with. And drag the media you want to work with into the
storyboard area.

15. This part is where the magic begins: u can add sounds, change the frame width, color, change the background color also or
even put a photo, edit (scale or rotate…) and move the frame.
And we have 2 new settings not activated yet: edit the frame and add a text box.

16. You can change the image cell size.

17. And to choose how many columns you want to use according to the number and the image cell size.

18. 3- Publish: this is where you can broadcast your project or share it with others.
Give your piece a title and description, choose where you want to save your piece in which channel and u can send emails to
your friends and family about the URL of the piece so they will be able to see it, and save the settings.

20. You can view your piece or also embed it in your preferred page, return to edit it, or continue and create a new one.
