Differential pricing
1.BARGAINING POWER OF
SUPPLIERS:
The hotels customers are fragmented,
so they have to reduce their
bargaining power to attract the
customers.
2 . BARGAINING POWER OF
CUSTOMERS
If the hotel price changes are
moderate, the Customers have low
margins and are price-sensitive.
3.THREAT OF NEW ENTRANTS
new entrants could change
major determinants of the market
environment (e.g. market shares,
prices, customer loyalty) at any time
4.THREAT OF SUBSTITUTES
A threat from substitutes exists if there
are alternative products with lower
prices
of better performance parameters for th
e same purpose.
ITC hotels has an exclusive tie- up with Starwood Hotels &
Resorts in bringing its premium brand the “Luxury Collection”
to India. The hotels which are part of this collection are: ITC

services
oPoor support infrastructure
oSlow implementation
oSusceptible to political events.
Oppurtunities
