I meet with management, team leads and stake holders to establish goals and objectives to create a technicalproject plan.
This project plan is aligned in parallel with the business project plan. The plan defines the technical activities that must
take place to support all events identified by management, team leads and stake holders. Services are then scheduled for
each event to insure the success of any actions and changes to the solution. I then manage the plan and the resources
allocated to track progress, resolve issues and insure we are in sync with the plan. I have utilized both Waterfall and
Agile Typically work on 3-5 initiatives simultaneously.

Technical Quality Manager.

engagement and provides in-depth knowledge for customer’s solutions and implementation strategy. Embedded in the

The Solution Design and Costing Group within SAP Managed Services(Hosting) provides the complete infrastructure
including end to end landscape design, system sizing, component distribution and managed services for Basis technology.
We incorporated cloud computing and virtualization techniques for reduced cost and optimal performance. Engaged in
sales and pre-sales activities as subject matter experts presenting the complete solution to the customer. Closely
collaborate with diverse groups of internal SAP organizations including; Technology, Sales, Customer Engagement,
Finance, Delivery, and Legal department. Regularly engage with Data Center Hosting Partners who provide hardware and
data center maintenance services
Accomplishments
As Director of the Solution Design and Costing team I lead the SAP Design and Cost team in developing and
designing infrastructure solutions to support Global Enterprise IT solutions based on individual customer
requirements.
SDC along with the customer leadership and SAP representatives gather information about business objectives,
critical processes and interfaces to determine the optimal software suite and tools to support the solution.
Integration points, messaging types, potential cloud configuration and virtualization model is determined. My
team then checks for component release information, prerequisites, dependencies and requirements. Information
about components, number of users,activity, document sizes, volumes and frequency is collected. Based on this
data SDC performs system sizing activities and determines the appropriate infrastructure to support the solution
including component distribution, servers,CPUs,memory, disk space,backups, data center cost and labor cost. A
final Landscape diagram and description including the monthly cost to host the solution is provided.
As Senior Solution Design and Costing Engineer, lead the SAP Design and Cost team in developing and
designing special solutions to address the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) business community by developing
a cost effective, repeatable, and rapidly deployable solution for CRM. A hosted cloud infrastructure was utilized
to deliver this service.
