We are SO glad you’re here. Undoubtedly, one of the hardest things to do is
just SHOW UP and we hope you think about Westminster as a place where
you can GROW UP in God with power beyond yourself and help from lots
of people headed in the same direction.
We think people grow in four specific areas of their spiritual life.
• We grow when we find a safe place to BEGIN or begin again with God.
• We grow when we find a place where we can BELONG and it’s ok to not
be ok.
• We grow when we find a place to BECOME all God has created us to be.
• We grow when we find a place to reach BEYOND ourselves and make
an impact in our world.
We want to be a church where all these things can happen; no matter
where you are, we’re glad you’re here.
Gary Gulbranson
Senior Pastor
Welcome!
Welcome and thanks
for showing an interest
in what’s happening at
Westminster Chapel.
Inside these pages you’ll
find many opportunities
to begin learning,
growing, and establishing
relationships.
3
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old
and New Testaments as being verbally
inspired by God and completely inerrant
in the original writings and of supreme
and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing
in three persons: Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten
by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin
Mary, and is true God and true man.
We believe that man was created in the
image of God; that he sinned, and
thereby incurred not only physical
death, but also spiritual death which is
separation from God; and that all human
beings are born with a sinful nature,
and, in the case of those who reach moral
responsibility, become sinners in thought,
word, and deed.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ
died for our sins according to the
Scriptures, as a representative and
substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who
believe in Him are justified on the ground
of His shed blood.
Often a visitor will ask,
“What do you believe?”
Our response touches on
these key areas...
We believe in the resurrection of the
crucified body of our Lord, in His
ascension into Heaven, and His present
life for us as High Priest and Advocate.
We believe in “that blessed hope,” the
personal, premillenial, and imminent
return of our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ.
We believe that all who receive by faith
the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the
Holy Spirit and thereby become children
of God, a relationship in which they are
eternally secure.
We believe that all who are born of the
Holy Spirit belong to the one true Church,
the Body of Christ.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of
the just and of the unjust, the everlasting
blessedness of the saved, and the
everlasting conscious punishment
of the lost.

How we
do it
Westminster is a...
PLACE TO BEGIN
Following Jesus is as easy as taking a first step towards community...
We are better with God...and others.
Consider baptism as a great first step towards God and a Begin Grow Group as a great first
step towards others.
Contact Nicole Larkin at nicolel@westminster.org for information about baptism
Contact Dustin Kershner at dustink@westminster.org for information about a Begin Grow Group
PLACE TO BELONG
...Community leads toward a healthier life...
We are better together!
Consider joining a Grow Group as a great first step towards Community.
Contact Matt Conrad at mattc@westminster.org
PLACE TO BECOME
...Health moves us towards growth...
We are better when we exercise our giftings together.
Consider entering spiritual friendships, such as discipleship and mentoring programs
to help you grow.
Contact Holly Pankratz at hollyp@westminster.org
PLACE TO REACH BEYOND
...Growth moves us towards making an impact in our community and the world.
Consider your role in leadership, in your community, and the world.
Contact Sylvia Ramquist at sylviar@westminster.org
What will your next step be?
GROW
CYCLE
People grow in fourspecific areas of their spirituallife. The Grow Cycle is the way wethink about spiritual growth. It'snot a ladder we climb once, buta cycle as we arecontinually developed byGod from within us.

  • 2. 2 We are SO glad you’re here. Undoubtedly, one of the hardest things to do is just SHOW UP and we hope you think about Westminster as a place where you can GROW UP in God with power beyond yourself and help from lots of people headed in the same direction. We think people grow in four specific areas of their spiritual life. • We grow when we find a safe place to BEGIN or begin again with God.   • We grow when we find a place where we can BELONG and it’s ok to not be ok. • We grow when we find a place to BECOME all God has created us to be.   • We grow when we find a place to reach BEYOND ourselves and make an impact in our world. We want to be a church where all these things can happen; no matter where you are, we’re glad you’re here. Gary Gulbranson Senior Pastor Welcome! Welcome and thanks for showing an interest in what’s happening at Westminster Chapel. Inside these pages you’ll find many opportunities to begin learning, growing, and establishing relationships.
  • 3. 3 We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as being verbally inspired by God and completely inerrant in the original writings and of supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and, in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word, and deed. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. Often a visitor will ask, “What do you believe?” Our response touches on these key areas... We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest and Advocate. We believe in “that blessed hope,” the personal, premillenial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God, a relationship in which they are eternally secure. We believe that all who are born of the Holy Spirit belong to the one true Church, the Body of Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
  • 4. 4 ...a safe place for a fresh start ...a place to be known and know others ...a place for you to be changed ...a place to make a difference O UR MIS SION OUR VI SION OU R FAMILYV ALUES We exist to lead people into loving and life-changing relationships with God and each other. Moving fromSHOWING UPtoGROWING UP God's Word is Relevant We Worship Together We Grow Together Everyone Leads God Rescues We are Unified and Diverse Ephesians 3-4; 1 Timothy 5; I Corinthians 12:12-26 1 2 3 4 5 6 4
  • 5. 5 How we do it Westminster is a... PLACE TO BEGIN Following Jesus is as easy as taking a first step towards community... We are better with God...and others. Consider baptism as a great first step towards God and a Begin Grow Group as a great first step towards others. Contact Nicole Larkin at nicolel@westminster.org for information about baptism Contact Dustin Kershner at dustink@westminster.org for information about a Begin Grow Group PLACE TO BELONG ...Community leads toward a healthier life... We are better together! Consider joining a Grow Group as a great first step towards Community. Contact Matt Conrad at mattc@westminster.org PLACE TO BECOME ...Health moves us towards growth... We are better when we exercise our giftings together. Consider entering spiritual friendships, such as discipleship and mentoring programs to help you grow. Contact Holly Pankratz at hollyp@westminster.org PLACE TO REACH BEYOND ...Growth moves us towards making an impact in our community and the world. Consider your role in leadership, in your community, and the world. Contact Sylvia Ramquist at sylviar@westminster.org What will your next step be? GROW CYCLE People grow in fourspecific areas of their spirituallife. The Grow Cycle is the way wethink about spiritual growth. It'snot a ladder we climb once, buta cycle as we arecontinually developed byGod from within us. 5
