• Promote upcoming festivals.
• Inside will be dates, times and

The Genre
Music is the genre for this magazine.
Competition and Target
Audience Even though there may not be a local magazine with the music event. A
competition magazine that may be a problem would be Festworld.
This means that competition for us is very low.
18 – 23 year old is our aim for the target audience.
This is because these ages go to the festivals.
and fonts
Navy, white and green will be the colour scheme throughout the magazine.
The masthead will be Franklin Gothic Heavy. I picked this for the masthead as
I feel that it’s a strong bold font which will make the title stand out on the shelf.
The strapline will be in the font The Hand Black. This is simple, small and
effective but also the perfect font that will be good to place under the heading for
a small catchy phase.
The font for the inside and puffs will be Calibri. This is because it is easy to read,
so that when opening up the magazine its not a handful to take in.
Content
The front page will have hd images making it stand
out.
Inside we will include personal comments, articles
on specific music events in Hertfordshire.
At the back will be a bunch of reviews on
customers opinions about the magazine and what
they liked about it
Distribution and
marketing
Free copies will be in each shop selling this
magazine.
Social media platforms
Resources and
personnel
• 2 people on social media.
• A team for information about the
events, dates, times, prices, locations
and columns.
• 2 editors
• 2/3 writers and journalists
• Photographer
• Designers
• Sales and market production team
• Equipment: camera, laptops, phones
and iPad.
Conclusion
We will make sure that the magazines are the best we can
produce for our suppliers and buyers
Alot more of the tickets will also be bought for the festivals
due to the popularity of the magazines meaning sales will
increase dramitcally.

Each copy will be exclusive and special to its own. Our team, will all work together to make sure it is up to date and has the juiciest, high quality and useful information inside, which will mean customers will be wanting to buy the next copy to keep up to date. We will make sure that these magazines are worth the money and customers feel like they have won by buying our magazines, especially with the deals we will be advertising inside. 
  2. When making a magazine you will always have competition, there are not many other magazines which specialise around just music events held in Hertfordshire, in todays market and stores, so this leaves a big gap in the market for us as producers to take the shine and opportunity to sell and make profit with this new magazine. This leaves us in a good position as once this magazine is published, it will be the only one of its type on the market, giving it a direct appeal to people who are looking for a magazine of this type. However, there are a bunch of  music magazines being sold about the other different areas in music, which could place a threat as people may already be loyal customers to those magazines or that they think their content is better and more interesting than what we are sharing. However, these magazines will not pose as a threat to my magazine as we will be producing information and new content which people will be wanting as it is useful and also be gaining discounts off when purchasing this magazine. Also we will be gaining a lot more customers as when posting our ideas and surveys onto social media, it will noticed more than just being put out onto store shelves.
  3.  2 young people handling the social media side of this magazine project,  2 more people also on media who will be taking down statistics and personal comments made by the public. Also on our team we will have a group of people to gather information about about the music events all around Hertfordshire this will include dates, times, prices, locations, columns on the festivals in the past, offers and discounts alongside all the festivals. Depending on what time of month and year it is, we may need photographers to attend current festivals, to gather good hd images to place in the future magazines. 2 editors to look over the whole project when being made . 2/3 writers will be on the team to come up with the context and all the columns and information.  The equipment we may need would be a good high quality camera, for the photographers to take into festivals for the best images to be placed inside the magazine. Laptops and pc will also be needed , for the editors and for the group of people that will be gathering information and facts together for the inside double pages. We need phones and iPads for the media group to make  accounts and advertising on social media to get the word around via the internet.
