leaders have failed to do; a state of video marketing survey.
The research, conducted in 2015, had respondents from both
marketing professionals and online consumers.
Though the results are intriguing, it presents nothing new video
marketing had anticipated coming into 2016.
Here are the top 6 key take away from the Report for business owners,
entrepreneurs and marketers.
Video as a Marketing Tool
The survey says 61 percent of businesses interviewed said they are
currently using video as a marketing tool.

So for the 61 percent of those who were polled to conducting business
using videos as a marketing tool, I say thumbs up and the way to go!

their home page. But out of this number, 83 percent have had success
with those homepage videos and considers them very effective.
This confirms the long-held view that the true potential of video
marketing is yet to be fully realized.

Stop being boring, get off your high horse and start doing what would

on video creation so much so that they forget about video promotion.
It’s simple; the best way to get more social sharing and views on a
business video is to promote it. I have heard on countless occasions

5. How can I see your video if I don’t know it exists, not to even talk about
sharing it?
And talking about sharing…70 percent of users say they have shared a
brand’s video with a friend or on their social media channels.
76 percent of users say they would share a branded video with their
friends if it was entertaining.
Moreover, 69 percent would share a branded video if it contained
information that might be of interest to their friends.

make videos for your social media channels…because a staggering 97
percent of consumers would happily share it with their friends and

Most customers are opposed to calling your customer service team for
any support services. They would instead prefer to watch a video that
explains how to solve the problem.
You would cut down on customer service cases; saving you valuable
time and resources.
